Doors to Dream Giving Tuesday 2020

As we near the holiday season, we want to inspire people to give. Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, December 1st and is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. At Doors to Dream, we are actively working to transform our community right here in Charleston by directly empowering high school students to plan social impact projects. The projects not only teach students valuable life skills and instill a sense of confidence, but they give back to the community in a meaningful way. Whether it be building a playhouse for a children who attend a community center or writing letters to nurses during the height of the pandemic, all of the projects students plan with Doors to Dream make a real difference.

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on. We at Doors to Dream are looking for 20 people in our network and community to make a monthly contribution - either big or small - to provide a consistent backing to our students and our program.
