Burke High School and Curry Law Firm Food Distribution

On Saturday, February 20th morning, students and staff of Burke High School and Curry Law Firm came together at Burke to give away bags of food to those who need it in the Charleston area. In total, students and volunteers were able to give away enough food to feed over 1,000 people.

The Principal of Burke High School, Cheryl Swinton, said about the event ““It warms my heart that we’re able to meet a need for them. It also warms my heart to know that some of our students here, who may very well be in need themselves, are helping in this effort." As a community, students and staff were able to make a direct impact on the needy in Charleston - putting their faith and action into the community.
