Teacher Appreciation Day!

Our students at North Charleston High School and Simmons-Pinckney Middle School spent most of their time in class creating Teacher Appreciations cards for all the teachers that they appreciate the most. Even though Valentine’s Day was still a week away, it was never too early to spread love to the ones who matter the most. The kids at SPMS picked the teachers that they appreciated and gave them little cupcakes to show them just how much they are loved by the students. When the idea for this project was presented to the kids, they were already writing to some of the teachers because they already knew who they was going to shout out.

The teachers felt grateful for what the students did for them because it has been stressful for teachers lately with Covid-19, virtual teaching and many more impacts that made teachers jobs stressful. The students wanted to surprise the teachers and in the end the teachers were grateful of the love they received from all the students.
