Burke and Sanders-Clyde students get their pour paint on!

Many of our Burke students attended Sanders-Clyde Elementary when they were younger and many also have siblings and family that attends the school so it makes sense to establish a relationship with them and their students! We were offered the pleasure of joining a few students from the special education department at Sanders-Clyde to do some pour painting - a new and, in my opinion, more fun way to make some really cool art. Even though the elementary students were missing GameDay, they were so excited to get to work with the big high schoolers and had such a blast picking out what colors they wanted to use. Each high schooler was paired with a Sanders-Clyde student and together we made some amazing art - check out some of the masterpieces that came out of the day below.
