Canvassing for Voter Registration

Secure the Ballot, a local nonprofit that canvasses, reached out to our group to get help with getting people to register to vote in the Eastside Neighborhood of Charleston. We split up into two groups and were able to knock on over 200 doors and get a handful of people registered to vote! We also got to have some community building and grab some lunch afterwards. Students started off the day a little bit nervous but by the end, were willing to talk to anyone and everyone with a confidence that was exciting!
