Anti-Violence Week!
Our North Charleston High School members of Doors to Dreams held a Anti-Violence Week at their school. They had Alyssa Richardson an Attorney and Deputy Chief Staff for Senator Tim Scott,
Winard Eady a Classroom Instructor for Turn90 & Judge Tamara Curry a Probate Judge for Charleston County come to their school to talk to the kids about Anti-Violence and the consequences of using violence as an answer in life but they also talked about the importance of kindness and advocating for anti-violence in our community.
They came up with the idea to host a 3v3 basketball tournament to raise money and awareness of Anti-Violence in their community through ticket sales and concession stands they were able to raise enough money needed for Turn90.
